garlic! you can usually use more; i like fresh garlic, lasts a week or so on the counter, dice it and heat it in oil to make everything smell like garlic (good)
salt: also need this to make the garlic taste work; i've been using seasoned salt more than kosher salt lately, whatever works, drink more water too
