Felix's bit at the end of "Lesko's Lament" is really good and important
"You can feel shitty, you can feel very hopeless at times. You can feel, you know, what's the way out. But, that is exactly what they want you to think. They do want you to feel fucking beaten down and that there's no joy in your life."
Once upon a time, there were three kingdoms, all bordering on the same lake. For centuries, these kingdoms had fought over an island in the middle of that lake. One day, they decided to have it out, once and for all.

The combat's functional. Not as visceral as Gears of War, weapons all kinda samey, and weak-feeling once enemies get tougher.
The stealth is bad. As soon as any enemy is alerted, they all know where you are, and while it seems like you can hide and break their tracking, it’s too easy for them to figure it out. I’ve definitely been spoiled by MGS5: The Phantom Pain, but Breath of the Wild also has really great but simple stealth mechanics.
Played some "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" tonight
thread of thoughts follows:
I've spent a surprising amount of time in the Ballston neighborhood of Arlington
last trip there was only time I've been through a subway station that didn't have power (trains still running, but just emergency lights and no escalators)
